In June of 2019, an old cat was found severely dehydrated, emaciated, and completely blind. Lake Lowell Animal Rescue in Nampa, Idaho took him to a hospital where he tested positive for FIV. Mats and tar had to be cut from his hair, and both of his eyes were removed to end the pain he had lived with for who knows how long. Through it all he was given an abundance of food, comfort, and love. Tomodachi Foundation provided immediate funds for the urgent and necessary procedures.
The last update in late August showed Stevie living a wonderful life in his hospice home, surrounded by two dogs and another cat companion. We are so grateful to LLAR and his caregiver, and so happy for Stevie!
