In December of 2018 we read a Facebook invitation from Ontario Feral Cat Project in Ontario, Oregon, asking friends to sponsor cats for adoption. They had over 20 cats in need—most, if not all, came from a trailer park where the manager was going to poison them. OFCP trapped and took them in, treated, had them all spayed/neutered, then put them up for adoption. Tomodachi Foundation donated funds to sponsor 10 of them. We trust rescue organizations like OFCP to vet potential adopters and make sure the cats go to loving, responsible homes. Sometimes people just need a helpful nudge to make a homeless furry friend’s dreams come true.
