If looks could kill! 🙂
Tomodachi Animal Rescue board member, Rita, spoke with a lady who is spending money she barely has to feed feral cats at the only grocery store in Middleton, Idaho. She needed help getting two cats altered, one of them suffering with what looked like a painful abscess. She trapped them, Rita transported them to and from All Creatures Animal Hospital in New Plymouth, Tomodachi took care of the bill. Teamwork!
Sadly, the one kitty had to be humanely euthanized because the abscess turned out to be a horrible tumor. The other one was spayed and spent two nights with Rita to recover from surgery. As the picture shows, she was a little spitfire, hissing and spitting at Rita, even while enjoying the yummy food she was given. Tonight she’s back in her colony where the kind lady will continue to feed her and any other hungry, homeless cats coming to the dumpster for food.
We thank God for all who give of their time and money to make sure homeless cats have food and, if possible, veterinary care! These compassionate warriors need all the help they can get, which is one of the biggest reasons this foundation exists.
